What the product is
A support pole wrapped in coconut coir, used to give climbing and aerial rooting plants something to attach to as they grow. It sells alongside indoor plants rather than as a growing medium, so it reaches a different buyer inside the same business.
How a wholesale order differs
- Length and diameter range, rather than a single size.
- Pack presentation, because the pole is usually sold on a shelf rather than delivered loose.
- Consistency of appearance across a run, which matters more at retail than in a nursery.
- Carton configuration, because poles are awkward to stack and shipping damage shows.

Packing for export
Poles are packed to survive a sea voyage and then a retail shelf, which are two different requirements. Where the product goes straight to retail, packing is agreed around the presentation rather than only around transit.
