Cocopeat supplied from Indonesia to European buyers
European imports run under a single set of European Union rules, enforced separately by each member state. That two level structure is the thing most often misunderstood by a first time importer, and it is worth understanding before you order.
Regional guide. This page covers buyers across Europe. Where a country is named as supplied, it is one of the destinations Agrorise has already supplied. Every other market in the region is prospective.
The European Union sets the plant health regime centrally. Each member state then enforces it through its own national plant protection organisation, which is the body that will actually inspect your consignment and answer your questions. Knowing the European position is necessary but not sufficient.
Agrorise has supplied Indonesian cocopeat for buyers in Spain. Other European markets are being developed, and a listing on this site does not indicate a completed export to them.
Beyond the regulatory frame, European buyers divide much as they do elsewhere. Protected cropping and hydroponic growers want washed material with a settled grading. Substrate and potting mix manufacturers often want natural material because their own process already includes a treatment step.
Countries covered on this page: Spain، Italy، Netherlands، Germany.
Formats
Where buyers here usually start.
A starting point, not a prescription. Confirm the format against your own system and your own handling before you commit.
Low EC 5 kg Cocopeat Block
Washed material, the usual base for managed irrigation systems.
High EC 5 kg Cocopeat Block
Natural material for manufacturers who wash, buffer or blend in their own process.
Low EC Cocopeat Bag in 150 L and 200 L
Loose washed material where handling on arrival is the constraint.
Import conditions
Import conditions for Europe are set by the authority below, not by us. Read the current position at the source before you order, because requirements change and a summary reproduced on a supplier website does not.
What to confirm before ordering
- Check the European Union position and your own member state position. They are two separate questions.
- Establish which national authority will handle your consignment before you order.
- Say whether you are growing with the material or manufacturing from it.
- Agree grading and consistency tolerance in writing.
