Cut husk chips for drainage and air-filled porosity, used straight or blended with peat for orchids, berries and long-cycle crops.
Chips change the physics of a substrate: more air, faster drainage, slower breakdown. Growers running multi-year crops, blueberry in particular, specify chips or peat/chips blends to keep root zones open over time.
We supply chips alone or blended with peat at the ratio your crop plan calls for.
